Description
This role will report to the Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for group monthly closing processes, group consolidation, financial reporting, variance analysis, annual audit and tax compliance
· Prepare materials for Board meetings and SGX/HQ results announcements
· Group budgeting and forecast processes
· Oversee and coordinate the preparation of Group’s annual report
· Provide guidance to local and overseas subsidiaries on accounting and financial reporting matters
· Review audit findings and ensure that all matters are addressed or resolved promptly
· Liaise with external/internal auditors and external service providers
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group financial and treasury policies, listing requirement and internal controls
· Support in preparation, review and monitoring of group cashflow forecasts
· Support any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may be assigned
Requirements
· Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy
· Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience with at least 3 years in managerial role and/or SGX reporting
· Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
· Familiar and hands-on experience with finance system implementation is an added advantage Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
· Good business acumen and strong with numbers and financial discipline
· Committed, proactive and hands-on team player and with an eye for details
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage different stakeholders
· Able to multi-task and work under pressure, both independently and in a team, to meet tight deadlines
