Job Description:

• Full spectrum of account functions

Responsibilities :

• Leading the deal from the financing/credit perspective.
• Expansive opportunity to showcase deal leadership to senior management with significant visibility to the CEO
• A credible debt structuring partner and consultant/advisor to coverage, private wealth management (PWM) & sales
• To lead the credit conversation on prospective opportunities in the screening committee forum
• Deal structuring, negotiation and developing bankable financing for the firm and delivering credit approvals to the client
• Primary responsibility and to lead the internal credit application process from end to end
• With guidance from the credit manager, or head of department (with support from internal legal counsels and Lenders’ counsel), to lead the termsheet negotiation and structuring discussions with the client.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and credit policy guidelines
• Guide and coach, the junior team members, developing them professionally
• Other ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned by the Head of Department

• Ability to work with semi- complete information, but sufficient (enough) to form a sound, well-grounded credit view in a fast-paced, quickly moving, fluid and · highly compressed schedule
• Confident in expressing and communicating a credit opinion, including a negative recommendation
• Strong stakeholder management skills, getting their buy-in on credit recommendations (including the case when it is a negative recommendation)

Job Description

• Support origination of debt finance transactions through pitches, financing proposals and pro-active engagement with clients
• Prepare internal credit applications and lead in due diligence and negotiation of commercial and financing agreements
• Build, review & run sensitivities on financial models
• Oversee all aspects of the execution and administration of transactions from origination to drawdown, alongside our middle office
• Assess requests for consents, waivers and amendments as part of portfolio management
• Develop, implement and monitor compliance with risk strategies, operating policies and practices to ensure effective risk management
• Identity & monitor market developments & opportunities
• Ability to help develop new client base and products in line with the bank's strategic priorities and conform to our sustainability goals

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering or related fields
• Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, accounting, investment or project development
• Good understanding of credit analysis processes
• Financial modelling skills
• Ability to think creatively and critically with a combination of strong quantitative analysis, and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Highly motivated, fast learner and desire to work in a structured finance team
• Familiarity and experience with ECA backed financing and other agency financing would be an advantage
