Responsibilities
Non Financial Risks:
- Lead the development and maintenance of non-financial risk policies and tools (e.g. operational risk policies, MAS outsourcing guidelines, Risk Appetite Statements and Key Risk Indicators)
Financial Risks:
- Lead the development and maintenance of financial risk policies and tools (e.g. credit risk policy, merchant acquiring risk policy, credit scorecards and other analytical tools)
Investor Relations support:
- Provide external stakeholders with a view of the material risks and key risk mitigants employed for securing capital for the company.
Advisory:
- Provide advice and guidance to senior management and board on enterprise-wide risk related matters
Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of experience in a financial institution.
- Good understanding of analytical methodologies and practices.
- Experience with financial (e.g. credit risk, merchant acquiring risk) and non-financial risk (e.g. operational risk, MAS outsourcing guidelines) policy development
- Prior team lead experience preferred but not a must to have.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Able to break down problems exhaustively and comprehensively in a structured manner and use data to drive decisions
