Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business performance, industry trends, and competitors to provide insights that connect financial data to business strategies.
- Use financial modelling, data analysis, and technical skills to recommend improvements for achieving financial and operational goals.
- Work with strategy and operations teams to develop business plans and ensure they align with overall goals.
- Set up and oversee performance monitoring for clinical departments, including reviewing financials and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stay updated on business planning standards and best practices.
- Participate in or lead projects to improve finance operations.
- Analyze large datasets using various tools and identify opportunities for improvement by leveraging industry benchmarks and research.
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Partners working with clinical departments.
- Build strong relationships with clinical and operations leaders, identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
- Work with external stakeholders on data and analysis requests.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, Engineering Computer Science or a related field with 5 to 7 years of financial experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated success in the financial and analytical value creation chain from analysis inception, data querying, analyzing, presenting insights, and driving resulting changes.
- Possesses knowledge of healthcare administration practices and principles in the Singapore healthcare environment and/or an academic medical centre.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure situations while independently managing multiple priorities, establishing workflows, and meeting necessary deadlines.
- Ability to apply the principles of independent logical, analytical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend solutions to complex problems and issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
- Experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on professional development and performance improvement.
