Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Claims, you shall be responsible to
- Manage all lines of claims including and not limited to WICA, Motor, P&C.
- To ensure accurate and prompt claims processing within stipulated turnaround time
- Access policy liability, compute and determine claims amount payable based on policy cover and in accordance to management guidelines
- Handle phone and email enquiries and attend to walk-in policyholders / claimants in relations to claims and payment status in accordance with Company procedures
- Study claims history and highlight to Superior on any abnormalities or repeated complaints
- Cross-collaboration with other departments internally
- Liaise with all stakeholders, including service providers, intermediaries and partners
- Contribute to roundtable discussions for new products developments and suggestions to implement procedures for claims handling to create a better/positive customer experience
- Active involvement in reviewing existing work processes to streamline and improve operational efficiency and implementing new work processes/system
- Any ad-hoc duties when assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree with General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI and HI) certificates
- At least 1 year of hands-on claims assessment and handling experience. Experience in work injury claims is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good analytical and decision making skills, meticulous with attention to details
- Customer-oriented, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
