The Investment Operational Risk and Compliance team is part of the Risk Management Department which drives risk management agenda, ensures sound and effective risk management framework and promotes risk culture. The team oversees and conducts the operational risk management function for Income’s Investment related activities and ensures these activities are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. We are looking for a strong and pro-active team player who wants to grow with Income to join us.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Investment Operational Risk

• Drive and Support the Investment Operation Risk framework, procedures, and related activities, in the areas of Risk

Management / 2nd Line of Defence.

• Conduct the Incident Notification and Reporting (Ops Loss) for Investment related activities
• Provide support to Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Control Testing and Quality Assurance Review, and recommend enhancements on adequacy of the design of internal controls and processes
• Review the Investment Management Agreement (IMAs), Investment Portfolios Guidelines, Subscription Documents and other requests from our Investment Teams.
• Review the Investment Breach Register and Investment's team standard operating procedures (SOP) on a regular basis.
• Participate to the regular review on External Fund Managers.
• Coordinate and prepare Monthly Incident Reporting with the Investment personnel for Risk Management reporting
• Coordinate and support for Substantial Shareholding reporting for other jurisdictions other than SG

Investment Compliance (Regulatory)

• Support to the Investment Compliance (Regulatory) framework, policies, procedures, and related activities (i.e., assessment, dissemination and advisory on Regulations applicable to Investment activities)
• Review and assess Investment Regulatory Breaches, prepare notification to Authorities
• Report and escalate compliance shortcomings, violations and breaches to Senior Management, Board committees, and Authorities.
• Contribute in the preparation of compliance report on a quarterly basis

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or equivalent
• Experience in Asset Management / Investment will be preferable
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience either in Portfolios Operations or Investment Compliance or Operational Risk
• Familiar with MAS regulations, notices and guidelines with respect to Fund Management and Insurance Investments will be a plus (e.g. Securities & Futures Act, Code of Collective Investment Schemes, MAS Notice 307, CPF Investment Guidelines).
• Good in communication and writing skills, able to present to and engage with different audience
• Team player with good interpersonal skill, able to work independently as well

Consumer GI Operations is a team that supports the General Insurance (GI) operations at Income. We played a key role in GI Consumer Business by supporting our stakeholders in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processing. As a Senior Executive in Consumer GI Operations, Personal Insurance Claims, your key responsibilities include the following: -

• Assess and negotiate settlement of Personal Insurance claims within the approved delegated authority limit
• Ensure prompt, fair and reasonable claims settlement of claims
• Liaise with various external service providers such as surveyors, loss adjuster or assistance company where necessary
• To be vigilant and escalate suspicious case for further investigation
• To assist supervisor in preparing and analyzing exception reports and daily productivity reports

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma holder in any field
• Candidates with insurance certifications BCP, PGI, ComGI preferred
• Have 1 to 2 years of working experience in the Personal Insurance industry in a similar capacity preferred

The Life and Health Operations (LHO) department plays a pivotal role in ensuring we provide our customers with affordable and comprehensive life and health products, with efficient processes to allow optimal service to our customers.

As an Executive, you will report to the Life Claims Section Lead, manage health/minor claim assessment (including managed healthcare system) and handle administrative duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess policy liability, compute and determine the claim amount payable based on policy cover and management guidelines for claim types such as minor claims of individual personal life insurance and managed healthcare system etc.
• Recommend payment or rejection of claims, ensuring timely and fair settlement of claims
• Ensure that claims are settled within the target time set and pending claims are reviewed within the target period
• Ensure that claims are processed in accordance to the service level agreements set within the organization and with external bodies such as CPF Board, vendor for panel clinics
• Work closely and maintain good rapport with representatives (financial consultants, advisers, brokers, etc.), officers and staff of other departments
• Communicate effectively with claimants and related parties, reinsurers, and external stakeholders such as the CPF Board, and hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, vendor for panel clinics in the course of claims administration

The candidate will manage the accounts receivables, debt analysis and collection from various intermediaries. Key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for prompt collection for all outstanding debts by performing outstanding debt recovery activities and monitoring overdue account receivables via calling, emailing, or other communications.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputed transactions with policyholders/ intermediaries/other stakeholders.
• Prepare reminder letters or appointment letters (if necessary)
