This role manages the training & capability needs of the Asia region and Australia and to assist with the delivery of the Asia strategy while ensuring staff are adequately trained to meet regulatory requirements, job requirements and local regulatory accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
- The role is focused on the delivery and design of the C&IB Capability strategy and working with the Asia Leadership Team to assist with the delivery and embedding of the C&IB strategy in Asia
- The role requires deep knowledge and experience of NAB’s systems and controls as they apply to the delivery of the training & Asia strategies.
- The role co-owns the C&IB Capability strategy with the Capability team
- The role is principally responsible for managing the governance & delivery of the training program and the effectiveness of the training Controls.
- The role consults with the Head of Regulatory Response & Capability and the Executive Asia
- The role consults to the C&IB divisions via the Global Training Governance Forum and the Training Working Groups and to the Asia Leadership Team
- The role contributes to the C&IB business to ensure C&IB colleagues are adequately trained.
- The role contributes to the Asia Leadership team to ensure successful roll out of the Blueprint in Asia.
- Coordination and delivery of the commination's strategy across Asia.
Key Accountabilities
- The role has independent decision making to training facilitation, creation and delivery
- The role has shared responsibility with the Asia leadership team to assist with the delivery and embedding of the Asia strategy.
- The role may draft training materials subject to C&IB’s global training governance framework
- The role has shared decision making with Head of Regulatory Response & Capability & Executive Asia
- The role must align with the global governance training framework and training controls.
- The role has shared responsibility with the Training team as follows:
- Maintenance of the Learning Needs Analysis
- Maintenance of the Training Calendar (Asia)
- Maintenance of People Hub for training records
- Logistics planning for face-to-face training
- Collection of Management Information
- Reporting of Management Information including training breaches
Essential capabilities
- Learning & Development background
- Logistic management skills
- Communication skills
- Stakeholder Management
Other Capabilities
- Experience of training platforms, training delivery, training creation.
- Regulatory Compliance requirements across Asia
- Experience in creating online learning content and using learning management systems.
- Knowledge of instructional design.
Experience
- At least 7 years of professional experience required
- Previous professional experience in Learning & Development and training facilitation.
- Familiarity with Asia regulatory training requirements and accreditation.
