• At least 5 years of working experience in internal audit in banking industry or other FIs, and familiar with main banking business activities and operations.
• Prefer with prior audit exposure with Banking regulations and main business activities or control functions, where relevant.
• Those with relevant external audit experiences in banking / financial services industry from Big 4 audit firms are welcome to apply.
• A good team player who is meticulous, analytical & independent, fast learner with positive working attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise liquidity and cash balances to meet payment requirements and maximise returns on surplus funds through investment.
• Recommend and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on surplus cash while ensuring compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares investment recommendations by researching and evaluating a list of bonds within the required limits of the investment policy to ensure that management has the correct information in making its decisions.
• Develop and execute a hedging strategy to manage the organization’s exchange rate risk.
• Ensure that all banking relationships operate efficiently, ensuring that transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage the relationship with banks and be responsible for meeting KYC requirements and ensuring that quality issues are addressed in relation to bank service fees.
• Maintain an effective system of policies and procedures that impose an appropriate level of control over treasury activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions, ensuring proper documentation and filing.
• Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

skills and experience required

• Minimum degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of checker experience in Trade Finance Operations in a Bank / Financial Institution.
• Knowledge of relevant trade finance regulations and compliance standards..
