Faithful+Gould is looking for a competent Assistant Cost Manager/Cost Manager to join our Singapore Team. You are competent in providing an effective and efficient Cost Management service to clients. You continually strive to improve your contribution and value by developing your knowledge and expertise with colleagues. You help to develop new business opportunities as you broaden your experience and deepen your client understanding and relationships.
The incumbent must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the project in order to make informed value decisions for both the Client and the Company. Cost Manager have under their helm complete management of the cost involved in building and construction projects from the inception of the project until the delivery. They strive for an efficient use of the resources whilst keeping an eye on quality, quality standards, and client's requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and evaluate estimates and cost plans
• Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
• Prepare and evaluate tender documents as required
• Analyse tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
• Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
• Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
• Prepare and agree final accounts
Requirements
· 3-8 years’ experience in quantity survey or cost management.
· Possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
· Preferably have experience working in the industrial projects or data centre projects
· Good communication skill
· Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills
