Finance Responsibilities

Note that this position is an addition to the team and all responsibilities below are currently handled by the finance manager and other finance team members; whom will be able to provide direction on their accomplishment over time.

• Manage full sets of accounts including preparation of journal entries, balance sheets, income statements & other reporting schedules

HR Responsibilities

• Employee records maintenance: Maintain and update employees' personal data in HR portal

• The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for checking and running of the Finance department's daily operations (making sure financial transactions/data are prepare according to IFRS), formulating reports and data to provide analysis to Management for decision making, liasing with government authorities on company matters.

· Supervise and collaborate with subsidiary management teams to analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and provide insights to support decision-making.

· Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analysis for management meetings at subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of information.

· Conduct regular visits to subsidiaries (at least once a month) to attend management meetings, build relationships with local teams, and gain insights into local market dynamics.

· Serve as a liaison between headquarters and subsidiaries, facilitating communication, alignment of goals, and implementation of strategic initiatives.

· Forecasting, budgeting, planning, and costing processes for company and its subsidiaries to provide business support and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

· Monitor and analyse financial trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the subsidiaries, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

· At least 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business consulting, or related roles, preferably in a multinational company.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Effectively direct the finance department towards the objectives of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s Financials Department.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax consultants, and insurance brokers on financing, treasury, accounting, taxation, and insurance risk matters.
• Prepare and send monthly Debtors’ Statements of Accounts.
• Preparation of GST report for submission.
• Maintain fixed assets register.
• Review and preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for the management.
• To provide financial data analysis to management.
• Preparation of monthly cash flow projections.
• Preparation of periodic P&L projections.
• Review and approve all payment vouchers, journals, and bank reconciliation statements prepared by the Senior Finance Executive.
• SAP system administrator.

Requirements:

• Preferably a degree in Accountancy or its equivalent,
• Min 3 years of experience in handling a full set of accounts in a manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English.
• SAP proficiency is required.
