We are looking to employ a potential management trainee to take on the role of Finance Account Executive

Finance Account Assistant Responsibilities:

• To manage Day to Day Accounting works (AP / AR / GST / GJ / Reconcilations etc) of the company
• To manage cash disburstment / petty cash pre audit and pre approval works.
• Ensure that the organization’s financial records and recordkeeping methods are in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• To work with the planners manage Project cash flow accounts (escrow accounting) to ensure that the projects are running a healthy cashflow.
• Generation and analysis of Monthly Management Report.
• Periodically review the organization’s financial reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Analyze data and advise top management on how to maximize profits.
• Management of Office / Project Budgets , final accounts and Profit Sharing Scheme
• Management of Grants sourcing / application
• Potential of assisting to set up over seas office / management of overseas accounts

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
• Good Knowledge of MYOB and Xls.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and diverse, multicultural work environment
• Able to work under a tight timeline and withstand pressure
• 5 Years of middle management accounting
• Experience in Construction Environment is a Plus

Location : Near Taiseng Mrt

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Perform credit checks in accordance with the company’s Credit process, accurately documenting outcomes in a timely manner.
• Resolve customer disputes effectively to ensure invoices are paid punctually and in full.
• Monitor and manage overdue accounts utilizing various automated systems and computer tools.
• Persuade customers to settle outstanding amounts, arranging repayment plans within authorized levels and considering individual financial circumstances; escalate when necessary.
• Maintain records of customer financial status and collection efforts accurately.
• Execute clerical tasks such as sorting correspondence, responding to inquiries, generating reports, and updating system data.
• Contact delinquent customers via mail or phone as per established protocols, specifying reasons for late payments and reviewing/agreeing on sales or service terms.
• Address customer queries regarding account issues, offering guidance on necessary actions and debt repayment strategies.
• Efficiently manage workload to meet performance metrics and service level agreements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar credit control environment.
• Strong familiarity with Power BI preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues while meeting demanding deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Description

• Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and resolve payment disputes
• Issue reminder letters to delinquent accounts- Recommend appropriate actions for delinquent accounts
• Attend to customers’ enquiries pertaining to billing and collection
• Work closely with other departments to resolve customers’ complaints in billing discrepancy
• Prepare credit note and debit note
• Achieve the target set by the Management
• Assist the Head of Department in statistical reports

Requirements

• Diploma or above in accounting profession
• Relevant experience in Credit Control are preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, in particularly MS Excel
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and also able to work independently
• Must be meticulous and possess sense of urgency
• Must be able to work under pressure
