Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day processing and accounting relating to AP/AR/GL functions, including checking and posting entries.
• Reconcile payments and/or receipts with the bank or related statements and prepare bank reconciliation reports when necessary.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accounts closing and bank transactions.

Job scope

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting
• 3years experience in financial reporting and hands on preparing financial statement and budget control
• 3 years’ experience in staff management

Billing Activities

• Prepare and issue invoices based on documentation provided by stakeholders.
• Follow up with stakeholders regarding billing requests once payment is received.
• Ensure invoices are generated and sent to customers promptly.
• Prepare credit notes as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in issuing all bills.

Collection Activities

• Process and apply payments to invoices through various payment methods.
• Follow up with customers to address issues causing delays in collections.
• Actively contact customers about overdue invoices.
• Reconcile bank receipts with online transactions and follow up on any unidentified transactions/receipts.
• Handle refunds as necessary.

Closing Activities

• Complete month-end closing and reconciliation for accounts receivable.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare all relevant monthly supporting schedules, including advance billing and receipts.

System Enhancement / Development

• Participate in solution implementation, including system testing, data verification, evaluating solution logic, and conducting parallel system runs.

Other Responsibilities

• Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders from other departments regarding billing matters and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries.
• Adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial records.
• Contribute to and support business process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 year of experience in accounting or finance role.
