We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The Cost Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate cost allocation, analyzing manufacturing costs, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, preferably within the semiconductor industry, and possess excellent analytical abilities along with exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in cost accounting, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in cost accounting principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly those used in manufacturing environments, is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of cost accounting processes, including but not limited to cost allocation, cost analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems for various products and production processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and engineering, to gather relevant data and insights to support cost analysis.
• Prepare and present regular reports on manufacturing costs, variances, and other key performance indicators to senior management.
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable inputs and recommendations based on cost analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.
• Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the cost accounting team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in cost accounting and related fields.

Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager

Job Description:

Management / Statutory Reporting

- Ensure timely and accurate financial month end closing (full sets) with management schedules

- Maintain proper internal financial records including but not limited to cash book, sales and payment transactions

- Responsible for statutory audits and ensure timely close of audit to meet statutory reporting deadlines

- Responsible for tax matters, including quarterly GST filing, annual income tax filing, and any applicable

withholding tax

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand the business and assist in data reporting requirements

Daily Finance Operations

- Daily sales transactions audit

- AR (invoice issuance, payment monitoring and reporting, periodic AR meeting with sales team)

- AP (ensure vendors; invoices are kept as part of proper record, verification and preparation of payments)

- Verification and processing of staff claims

- Collaborate with other teams to support operations (e.g. process customers; refunds)

- Complete ad hoc projects and tasks, as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Degree in accounting / ACCA

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, audit experience is a plus

- Familiarity with Xero accounting software is advantageous

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: - Finance Junior Accountant.

Pull time role in a Hotel Finance Department.

1 - Requirements of the job scope: -

- Report to the Accountant & the Financial Controller

- Ability to handle all aspects of AR (Accounts Receivable), Credit card reconciliation, Daily Revenue Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, and other financial duties as Junior Accountant.

- Assist the Accountant as required to prepare full set monthly management accounts and related schedules timely

- Ability to handle AP Payment a billing processing in absence of the AP personnel

- Administration of contracts database and project cost tracking

- Cashflow management- Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers. - Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Processes and Procedures- System and processes-assist in processes and system implementation when required

- Any ad-hoc duties assigned. Requirement (Qualifications & Experience)- A self-starter who is able to plan organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.

- Self-motivated, resourceful, hands on and meticulous. - Finance/Accounting studies or relevant discipline or ACCA preferred.

- Experience in Hotel sector will be an advantage. - Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standard, corporate tax and GST rules.
