Job Responsibilities:

• To monitor and handle all credit-related matters for portfolio of accounts assigned including annual reviews, other adhoc reviews, waiver/amendment requests and on-going portfolio monitoring including financial accounts, covenants, collaterals etc.
• To be fully conversant with the Bank's credit procedures to ensure obligor gradings are accurate and appropriate
• Undertake portfolio sensitivity analysis from time to time
• Distill complex issues, analyse cashflows and financial models and translate to meaningful, indepth credit analysis and recommendations
• Review loan documentation and terms sheet to ensure credit approved terms are as per documented
• Interface with front office/marketing teams, credit department and internal/external auditors
• Support the ongoing KYC periodic reviews for portfolio of accounts

Job Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in a finance-related field
• Min. of 7 years' credit risk experience with Structured Finance, Corporate Banking or Credit Risk environment within a Bank or Financial Institution
• Strong understanding and ability to interpret financial statements
• Good working knowlege of loan and security documentation
• Advance skills in Excel and financial modelling
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Team player and flexibility in work hours
• Self motivated

Responsibilities

• Coverage of large corporates (MNCs & Government Linked Companies)
• Perform independent credit analysis and evaluation, including financial analysis and projections on new and existing banking facilities/ loans to make recommendations for approval
• Identify key risks and mitigating factors in the credit evaluation and present cases to the Credit Committee for deliberation and approval
• Conduct customer visits together with Front office to understand the business operations
• Plan and organize to ensure credit reviews are completed in timely manner
• Recommending ad-hoc trade requests based on approving
• Review credit documentation to ensure adherence to approved Terms and Conditions

Requirements

• Recognized bachelor degree and above , preferably in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
• At least 3 years of experience in similar capacity. Prior experience in banking sector is highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• See through/support Counterparty Credit Risk system (CCR) change requests/ projects/ bug fix (whichever applicable) from initiation to sign-off:
• Gather, analyse and document user’s requirements
• Prepare, execute and validate SIT test scenario
