Job Description

- Working Location: Redhill (Near MRT station)
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9.00 AM – 6.00PM)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,700
- Duration: Contract (6 months) - cover staff on maternity leave
Accounting and Financial Management
- Maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping activities for sales, purchases, receivables, and payables.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings, CPF submissions, and other tax compliances.
- Manage month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules.
- Update cash flow reports and prepare journal entries for month-end closings.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage fixed asset records.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to ensure statutory compliance.
Fee Protection Scheme and Compliance
- Manage the implementation and monitoring of the Fee Protection Scheme in line with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with the corporate secretary on statutory submissions, including resolution preparation, ACRA filings, and maintenance of corporate registers.
- Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and that financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in quarterly budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Prepare and review financial reports to support informed decision-making.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Administer payroll processing, CPF submissions, and staff benefits.
- Process invoices for payment and refunds to customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Support operational administrative tasks such as providing bank statements and processing financial documents.
- Assist in purchasing, report typing, invoicing, and other admin-related activities.
- Register trainees in the TPGateway system.
Ad-Hoc Duties and Collaboration
- Support and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Accountancy or any relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in MYOB, ABSS, or similar accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience with EduTrust Private Education Institutions (PEIs) or SSG Registered Training Providers is an advantage.
