Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure timely reporting of management accounts, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, GAAP, and local laws.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial planning reports, including profit and loss and cash flow forecasts.

Accounting & Administration:

• Oversee the finance department and accounting systems.
• Coordinate audits and ensure proper filing of tax returns.

Treasury Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning and investment management.

Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, managing workload and performance.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong understanding of accounting systems and tax regulations.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, GAAP and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

As regional finance controller, you will lead financial management efforts across corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and budget preparation for designated entities. Accounting Operations:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and cash flow management.

Reporting:

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, driving the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and present the annual budgets, financial forecast and variance analysis.

Financial Leadership:

• Develop and execute financial and accounting strategies to enhance performance and competitiveness.

Strategic Collaboration & Business Partnering:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and improve financial performance across assigned entities.
• Serve as a primary contact for financial matters, providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For

You are a qualified accounting professional with 7-8 years of relevant experience, including a strong background in accounting and analysis. You possess advanced Excel skills for complex financial modelling, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a critical, detail-oriented mindset. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration, along with proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems which would set you up to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while maintaining high integrity and professionalism.

Ideal Profile

• A qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification.

• Review COD cash sales list from Customer Service on a daily basis and monthly cash and collection targets are met
• File claims in the Small Claims Court, attend court in the Small Claims Court on claims filed by the Company
• Liaise with lawyers and insurance providers on claims cases, where necessary
• Contact debtors through calls, emails or letters to notify them of outstanding invoice and exercise credit hold function for delinquent customers
• Managing projects such as company refinancing, negotiating and evaluating overdrafts and loans with bankers

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma with 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge in SAP
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Support on Credit control and Networking capital improvement not limited to the below:

• Calling customers and sending monthly reminders, statement of account & invoices to customers.
• Liaise and work with customers & fulfilment / operation on Service reports / PMS / supporting documents for invoicing and collection.
• Match invoices with service report / PMS.
• Support month-end & year-end close process.
