Job scopes

• Design and develop Restful API/Webservices on cloud platform for service and consumption.
• Gather and refine specification and requirements based on technical needs.
• Analyse and optimise performance and reliability for the front-end of the applications.
• Build responsive Web applications
• Building Microservices with the 12 Factor App Pattern on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Create and maintain software automation using CI-CD
• Deliver and integrate Microservices with web and mobile applications.
• Follow Agile Software methodologies for development.
• Write automated unit, feature, and regression test suites.
• Able to develop services that constitute front-to-back applications.
• Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any equivalent
• Around 10+ years of technology delivery experience in core development.
• Hands-on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming skills.
• Hands-on experience writing modern page web applications.
• Experience using source code control systems and branching strategies including with hands- on experience branching, merging, and releasing.
• Experience with a major relational database system and ideally one NoSQL database
• Hands-on experience with JAVA (Spring, Spring boot, Vert.x, RxJava, ReactJS, AngularJS) and cloud foundry technology.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB or SQL Server.
• Expertise with In-Memory Computing technologies, Streaming Data, Complex Event Processing, Real-time Analytics, Universal Messaging and Java caching concepts using DataGrid, Ehcache, Terracotta, Hazelcast, TIBCO ActiveSpace or other Fast Big Data solutions.
• Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• · Experience in CI-CD tools like Bitbucket Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, confluence.
• Knowledge of AML / KYC processes and solutions is a plus.
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Good judgment in UX/UI design.
• Understands the finer points of HTML, CSS, Angular and JavaScript - know which tools to use when and why.
• Experience within retail banking environment is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end design and development of Qlikview-based reporting applications
• Build reports in Qlikview, initiated by business’ reporting needs
• Clear documentation of Qlikview data design and mappings
• Manage day-to-day operations of Qlikview system along with development
• Perform Qlikview upgrades and new installation, hence should have good familiarity with Qlikview Publisher and QMC
• Responsible for the safeguard of his/her code base, conduct unit and integration testing, provide release management instructions through UAT and production environments
• Analyzing and documenting business requirements and data specifications
• ETL scripting

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or any related field.
• Experience in Data visualization tool (e.g. Qlikview, Qliksense)
• Experience in database design and modeling for data warehouse and business intelligence applications, including relational database structures and normal forms.
• Knowledge in performing the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technical subjects and tasks.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization
• Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis
• Ability to present and explain complex technical topics, problems, alternative solutions to others.
• Advanced experience with or knowledge of most of the following software, tools, or similar products is a plus: SQL Server DBMS, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Oracle DBMS, Oracle PL/SQL.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess good communications skills to understand our customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them.
