Responsibilities

· Liaise with the IT team of the head office to complete business requirements, test and deploy the project.

· Understand the Group’s system architecture, bridge business needs with technology implementation by combining business knowledge and technical skills.

· Understand complex business requirements and implement practical software solutions accordingly.

· Develop IT projects under on time to support Branch’s business and management.

· Resolve software bugs and issues quickly.

· Improve software development processes by working with cross-functional teams.

· Ensure that software specifications, workflows, and processes are documented.

· Any other duties as directed by the HOD of the Fintech Department or Branch Management.

Requirements

· A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analysis etc.).

· A minimum of three years' experience in Fintech, Information Technology or a related field, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

· A track record of success in roles related to software development or innovation.

· A strong understanding of the methodologies and principles of software development.

· A working knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), alongside in version control systems and continuous integration practices.

· Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or similar languages.

· An understanding of web development frameworks, such as Vue.js, React.js, a full stack developer is expected.

· Ability to deliver functional solutions within a tight deadline

· Collaborative and problem-solving skills in a team environment.

· Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Must be open to working extended hours due to project needs.
• Must have Investment Banking experience
• Core requirements:
  o Experience in writing Java code.
  o Good Unit and Component testingpractices.
  o Excellent understanding and experience with cloud technologies to achieve high scale and
  reliability, i.e Azure Kubernetes Service.
  o Experience with developing Cloud native applications.
  o Good understanding of Linux and Windows Operating systems
  o Good code review skills, and pride in code quality
  o Experience with CI / CD tools such as Git Lab or GitHub or equivalents.
  o Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus.
• Preferred requirements:
  o Experience with financial industry. Strong background experience in the banking and finance
  industry, with a solid understanding of banking processes, systems, and regulations and indepth knowledge of investment products. Experience working in remote teams across multiple locations.
