Financial Planning and Costs Analysis

• Budgeting: Developing and managing budgets for various departments and projects.

Financial Reporting

• Financial Statements: Preparing and analyzing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).

• Internal and External Reporting: Providing financial reports to management, investors, and other stakeholders.

Job requirements:

Job Description:

• Raise journals for cost recovery and reimbursement to AGC stakeholders
• Assist to generate Paynow QR code for recoveries/incoming receipts
• Monitor and administer asset records
• Monitor incoming emails to FMU’s email account and address queries
• Disseminate bank statements to relevant officers
• Monitor and update trackers such as payments, journals, assets, deposit records, Paynow QR codes
• Perform monthly review of CSD’s corporate travel transactions
• Raise service requests to Vital on daily operation tasks such as delegation forms and journals, deposit records etc

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set of account inclusive of full spectrum Accounts Payable and Receivable function
• To work with operations in managing the AR recovery and monitor the collection of receipts from customer
• Generate weekly accounts receivables report with update on AR status
• Prepare payment to suppliers and reconcile creditors statement
• Prepare analysis of accounts and monitor to ensure payments are up to date
• Assist in establishing internal control procedures to improve the accounting process

• Design and implement process flow and transaction-based documentation for the finance department.
• Prepare policy documents for management approval and ensure implementation.
• Report deviations from approved policies to management for corrective action.

• Prepare detailed monthly management information system (MIS) reports.
• Perform monthly closing activities, including journal entries and P&L and Balance Sheet analysis.
• Manage corporate accounts for parent/holding companies and subsidiaries.

• Assist with other reports as needed by the internal finance team.

Vessel Accounting:

• Manage vessel OPEX (Operating Cost) Management reporting.
• Review and process payments for all vessels and relevant notifications.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for accounting/reporting matters.
• Ensure accounting reports for clients are prepared and reviewed within agreed deadlines.
• Explain running cost variances to other departments.
• Oversee invoice posting, payment of purchase invoices, and creditors in compliance with the Company’s payment policy.

Regional Finance Management:

• Manage and oversee finance for regional offices.
• Ensure regional office compliance with laws and regulations.

Payroll Management:

• Design tax-efficient structures for employees and compute tax requirements and deductions.

General and HR Management:

• A degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, ACCA, or CPA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager in the maritime and ship management industry.
