This 6-months contractual role will provide multi-sector management accounting support for the Singapore plant supporting the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets and NAB Gatorade US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Reporting and Transaction Processing

• Ensure integrity of all processes that directly and indirectly support financial reporting throughout all Singapore Legal Entities.
• Develop and implement best practice tools which improve accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness of financial transaction processing & reporting. - Participation in continuous improvement events and workshop. Provide guidance is development of controls and testing.
• Risk Control Management for all cycles is maintained and up-to-date. All control and process owners are familiar with key processes and controls for them. Training is provided for all new control and process owners. Update workshops for existing control & Process owners is provided
• Monitoring financial controls to ensure integrity of supply chain, and accurate interface of financial data within the supply chain. Ensure quarterly walk-through of controls and report results along with quarter rep letter package.
• Implement improvements to the control environment to maintain PepsiCo Standards. Analyze business processes – particularly in the event of a significant business or system change – and work with process owners to develop controls and assign control owners

2. Financial Compliance Lead

• Responsible for Sox testing coordination and reporting
• Lead the Control Agenda to drive the effectiveness of all processesGCS Implementation
  Inventory Controls
  GAAP Compliance
  New Sox Controls
  Policies and Procedures
  
• Liaise with external auditors in support of their requirements
• Ensure compliance with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards

3. Manage Singapore GST for 2 Legal Entities:

• CMSPL & CHUPL under Group GST
• Setup and maintain VAT report in SAP when required
• Lead Major Export Scheme audit on site
• Lead Trainer for GST in Singapore site
• Lead GST projects

4. Manage Financial Reporting & Statutory Accounts Preparations for 2 Singapore Legal Entities.

• Handle auditors queries
• Statutory accounts review and preparations
• Review Financial Statements
• Preparation of Company Taxation & Transfer pricing
• Responsible for global tax initiatives such as Pillar 2
• Attend to IRAS audits
• Responsible for Statutory surveys

5. External Collaborations with Economic Development Board Singapore.

• Innovation Development Scheme
• Prompt submission of progressive claims to EDB
• Manage Pioneer Incentive queries from Singapore Tax Authorities (IRAS)
• Work closely with Corporate Tax on regular basis to identify non-qualiying activity (Vendor directs) and EDB to seek alignment to ensure compliance of conditions

6. Month End Tasks

• Handle month end payroll validation and journal posting
• Preparation of non Trade Intercompany billing
• Lease accounting
• Balance sheet reconciliation via blackline module

Other adhoc duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Professionally qualified accountant with 5+ Years PQE in a high volume multinational manufacturing environment.
• Clear understanding in Singapore Local regulatory and compliance requirements.

This 6-months contractual role will provide multi-sector management accounting support for the Singapore plant supporting the fast-growing Asia Pacific markets and NAB Gatorade US. This role will manage the management accounting of the annual cost budget (Manufacturing Overhead and Capital). This role will also perform the accounting and reporting for Manufacturing Overhead, Capital and Productivity and is responsible for maintaining a strong control environment in accordance with PepsiCo policy. The role will assist to prepare the Annual Operating Plan, actuals and forecast for the Singapore plant for MOH and Capital, together with ensuring that month end and period close processes and variance analysis are completed and reported on time. In addition, they will be solely responsible for reviewing the Capital Spend. As part of this they will support the Engineering team on Capex preparation and the Singapore Management team on budget Control on Operating Spend. They will also be key point of contact for internal/external audit bodies to ensure that our Capital Management system is compliant with all control requirements. They will work closely with Plant team & Support functions to ensure that all productivity initiatives are validated and tracked on a going basis to optimize the return.

Purpose: Provide the fabrication steps & process time to calculate the cost of the part. This includes assessing whether the design provided is machinable, the availability of machines or tools to support the requirements and proposing cost-efficient methods.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide machining process steps for quote submission to determine process cost calculation.
• Review the part drawings & specifications provided and consider the critical dimensions or process.
• Identify machining issues and provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) slides to highlight issues; present an alternative proposal when possible.
• Generate a drawing/list of the requirements before sending the Request for Quote (RFQ) to suppliers.
• Inform suppliers of requirements & stipulate a cost breakdown list. Ensure that suppliers meet the specified timeline.
• Provide Part Cost estimation for Outsource Build to Print (BTP) parts for the Commodity team to use as a price reference.
• Mentor new hires on operations and part calculation processes to ensure they receive the information and guidance needed to perform their jobs effectively.

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Nitec/Dilpoma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the Semiconductor or High precision equipment industry, with relevance to costing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Solidworks or other computer-aid design software.
• Application of measuring equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

* Focused on Cost Accounting procedures in Product Costing and Entity Accounting.

* Participate in month-end close process - utility accrual calculation, payroll analystis, headcount reporting and division financial review decks

* Comparing to benchmarks and determining Utilities price / volume / efficiency metrics

* Maintain Management Operating System (MOS) board by updating metrics for Finance department

* Give presentations monthly at Tier 4 Meetings on month-end results

* Bill of materials cost creation and release of standards in SAP

* Forecasting : Utilities usage (Natural gas, electricity) and overtime/payroll

* Ownership of utilities and payroll quarterly latest best estimates (LBE) and Plan Forecast for the next year

* Write and update manuals for each working process

Requirements :

Degree in Finance or equivalent

At least 1 year of finance experience in a large MNC preferred
