We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual as a Bank Operations Technology Coordinator, to support the Network & Hosting Team of our client in Singapore, which is a top global investment bank.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of network and hosting infrastructure equipment to data centers, warehouses, and other critical facilities of the bank. You will work closely with vendors, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all deliveries are processed efficiently, and items are received accurately. Your role is essential to maintaining smooth operations for network infrastructure deployments and supporting the hosting environment's needs.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Coordination:

• Oversee the end-to-end logistics of equipment deliveries to data centers, warehouses, and other relevant locations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely ordering and procurement of required items, ensuring all equipment is ordered according to project specifications.
• Track and monitor the status of orders and shipments, ensuring that deliveries are on time and accurate.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics partners to manage orders, deliveries, and any issues or delays.
• Ensure that vendor documentation (such as invoices, packing slips, etc.) is complete and accurate.
• Track vendor performance and report any discrepancies or issues that may impact delivery timelines.

Data Center Access Coordination:

• Request and manage access passes for entry into data centers, ensuring that all passes are prepared and ready for delivery teams.
• Work closely with security and facilities teams at data centers to ensure that delivery teams and equipment are properly authorized for entry.
• Ensure compliance with all data center protocols regarding access, safety, and security.

Delivery and Equipment Verification:

• Ensure that all equipment and shipments are verified upon delivery, checking for accuracy against purchase orders, shipping manifests, and packing lists.
• Document any discrepancies or damages in delivery, escalating issues as needed to the relevant teams for resolution.
• Perform initial inspections and quality checks to ensure that items received are in good condition and meet project requirements.

Logistics Documentation:

• Maintain detailed and organized records of all logistics-related activities, including delivery schedules, vendor communications, and access permissions.
• Report on logistics performance and provide feedback to relevant teams for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related queries from internal teams, external vendors, and data center personnel.
• Provide regular updates on the status of deliveries, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of any issues or delays.

Other Duties:

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support network infrastructure projects and hosting operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics coordination, vendor management, or similar roles, preferably in a network, IT, or data center environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology, or any other field

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling equipment deliveries and documentation.
• Familiarity with data center operations, network infrastructure, and hosting environments (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in data center or network infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of industry-standard logistics practices and shipping methods.

Working Conditions

Job Description:

Primary Role: Responsible for techno-engineering work during the project cycle, from evaluation, implementation through to operations / maintenance, including:

• Pre-investment technical due diligence, such as review of engineering and process design, comparing capex/opex estimates to industry benchmarks, technical capabilities of EPC contractors, etc
• Supervision during implementation, such as:
  • Verify whether project-related EPC and investment agreements are being met.
  • Physical status of the work implemented on site.
  • Judge and report the quantum of finance contributed and used for the project.
  • Estimated expenditure for the project over observed progress.
  • Review and comment of Statutory Approvals and Clearances.
  • To check whether physical progress is in line with project implementation schedule and planned project timelines.
  • Review the drawdown schedule for the planned project activity.
• Oversee operations and maintenance of project investments, to ensure O&M contractors are performing their roles, and projects are being managed in line with budgets and contracts

Secondary Role: Support Business Development / Commercial / Investment work, i.e. identify and contact potential environmental projects which Tigris can invest in, including in India, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and over time, to work with local partner companies on project development and business strategy.

Synthetic Product Group

The Synthetic Product Group (SPG) business offers institutional clients and hedge funds products which are optimal with respect to tax, balance sheet and funding. Business revenues come from commissions, financing and dividends through the trading of CFD and Equity Swap OTC instruments alongside futures, ETFs and structured products. It is part of a front to back alignment where engineers are embedded with the revenue generating part of the business. This provides opportunities to partner closely across the SPG organization to deliver the firm even more effectively and efficiently to our clients.

The Synthetics business at Goldman Sachs, a key growth area for the firm, is undergoing a transformational change driven by a desire to handle higher volumes and improve our client service. It is a complex and nuanced global business, operating with low latency at scale, requiring significant technological investment to make our platform the best in class. The SPG Engineering team is at the forefront of this effort, leading the effort to digitize and automate the systems that manage the booking and lifecycle of synthetics and equity derivative products within the firm trading risk systems. To achieve this we have a number of exciting projects to re-architect our technology stack to meet these requirements and are looking for highly technical developers to help us achieve this goal.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a high-performance, high-availability, high-capacity, yet nimble and adaptive platform for trade booking and workflow systems as well as post-trade processing
• Design and build solutions to enhance and scale up the infrastructure to support business growth and new products, in a holistic front-to-back approach
• Collect data and metrics from existing systems to guide decision making and business intelligence, developing or enhancing tools as necessary to collect them
• Communicate with traders, sales, strategists, operations and compliance officers to gather new requirements, design workflow, deliver features and provide user support

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Research or equivalent experience
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Solid experience with Java programming
• A solid understanding of data structures and algorithms as well as systems design
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience in the financial industry and front-office facing environment
• Financial knowledge and good understanding of Equities Synthetic or Derivative products
• Experience building state management systems, complex event processing and transaction sequencing architectures
• Prior experience with event sourcing (sequenced core stream) based architecture
• Prior experience in concurrent programming and developing multi-threaded systems

Your key responsibilities:

As part of our global team you will work on various components as a Lead Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, as well as the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. • Ownership and oversee development of application in alignment with the target architecture as per Domain and Enterprise Architecture blueprint.
• Provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 12 years of working experience in general programming language such as Java (Eg: Java 8+)
• Experience in leading a team of developers providing technical leadership and people management.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front end frameworks such as React and or Angular.
• Hands-on experience building Microservices including writing Unit and Integration tests using Spring Boot, Cloud, and other relevant frameworks.
• Knowledge of Application, data and infrastructure architecture principles and design patterns
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Understanding and Hands-on experience in applying the Event Driven Pattern of microservices such as CQRS
• Knowledge on the Distributed Messaging platform such as Apache Kafka
• Exposure to functional / Reactive programming is mandatory and working knowledge of functional programming in Java
• Hands-on experience working on cloud native applications on platforms such as Kubernetes, Azure, RedHat OpenShift

The Opportunity

We own, evolve and support the technology platforms that handle the post-execution processing for the Securities Execution, Prime Clearing, and Prime Brokerage businesses. This includes exchange and broker trade processing, internal firm/firm trades and client delivery across physical and synthetic products. We are at the start of a multi-year convergence program to deliver all of these businesses onto a single, high scalable platform, enabling business growth with reduced operational costs.

About the team

Our team consists of 19 people in Singapore and around 100 globally. Almost all of our projects are cross-location and cross-function, meaning we work directly with Front Office, Operations, Legal, Tax, and our Engineering colleagues from those areas, across the wider firm.

We work directly with Operations and Securities sales/trading, to design and implement, a wide range of functions including trade aggregators, trade matchers, payment systems, intercompany trade booking and settlement systems, and connectivity to exchanges, counterparties and vendors. Our Exception Workflow and Business Intelligence tooling allows our Operations teams to respond to client enquiries and monitor service levels.

Our Post Execution platform consists of a variety of applications that demand high throughput, performance and availability, including our strategic new Post Execution Sequencer platform which is a brand new/greenfield initiative to converge all of our businesses onto a single technology platform, to have much better scalability, improved resiliency and reducing the time needed to develop and deliver new features.
