Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Review quarterly GST F5 report for accuracy, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying any discrepancies or adjustments needed before submission.
• Support the annual financial audit, liaising with auditors and reviewing the documentation in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support business planning.

• Verify supporting documents and issue customer invoices promptly, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

• Execute annual fixed asset inventory count, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded, properly tagged, and aligned with the financial records.
• Prepare key management reports (Subsidiary Sales Report, Distributors’ Sales Report, Accounts Receivable Report)
• Manage banking-related matters, such as applications for banker’s guarantees and corporate credit cards.
• Assist in implementing and optimizing financial controls, policies, and processes in line with best practices.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounts/ Finance or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experiences in finance operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (eg. SAP/Xero/Oracle)
• Knowledgeable in Singapore tax regulations, GST reporting, and financial compliance.

Financial Management and Reporting

• Ensure full compliance with Charity Accounting Standards (CAS).

Team Leadership and Process Oversight

• Review and manage the Fixed Assets register, coordinating physical asset checks.
• Verify and approve payments, petty cash claims, and bank reconciliations prepared by the Accounts team.

Accounts and Banking Operations

• Prepare monthly AR aging reports and coordinate follow-ups with Centre Managers.
• Liaise with banks and auditors to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Manage cheque signing processes and assist authorized signatories.
• Perform ad-hoc cash counts when required.

Additional Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
