Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and document business requirements for SAP ERP system enhancements and customizations.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop efficient ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces that support business processes.

• Perform ABAP coding, debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Perform configuration settings and maintenance to FI, SD, and MM modules.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, test plans, and user guides.

• Identify opportunities to optimize existing SAP processes, recommending and implementing improvements that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations by providing technical expertise and analysis.

• Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.

• Adhere to existing IT service management and change management standards.

• Participate in project implementations, including preparing reports and documentation.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Key Technical Skills/ Knowledge:

• 8+ years’ experience with production support and troubleshooting with ABAP development, with emphasis on SAP ECC6 FI (AR/AP/GL/FA), SD, MM, developing SMART Forms and SAP scripts, Web Service development (provider and consumer roles), SAP workflow development.

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Programmer and Business Analyst, with hands-on experience in ABAP development, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Good understanding of IDOCs.

• Configuration across FI, SD, MM modules to meet business requirements (setting up organization structure, master data, etc.).

• Strong understanding of SAP modules and processes, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex business requirements.

• Proficiency in designing and developing custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within the SAP ecosystem.

• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies and methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• SAP certifications and experience with SAP S/4HANA are a plus.

Role: Finance Associate

Job description:

Finance Associate is responsible handling the monthly closing of NCS companies and ensuring true and fair reporting and timely preparation of financial statements and reports, to meet both management and statutory reporting requirements

• Handle Full sets of accounts
• Prepare and perform monthly financial analysis on Direct Sales Margins. Present and provide explanations on variances and ensure that irregularities are adjusted and addressed promptly before month-end close
• Execute policies, procedures and processes for inventory management and perform a key role in inventory counts
• Prepare and perform journal entries in SAP, prepare inventory management reports and schedules
• Review balance sheet schedules and highlight long outstanding balances and other irregularities to process owners for resolutions
• Assist Finance Manager to implement changes to financial accounting/governance processes for inventories, including automation
• Assist Finance Manager to review Systems Access Rights to ensure proper segregation of duties
• Assist Finance Manager with monthly and quarterly staff costs reporting to management
• Review NCS group of companies corporate income tax, including GST and other taxes and ensure compliance issues are highlighted and addressed
• Provide support to ensure external and internal auditors' queries and concerns are satisfactorily addressed

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Work experience in MNC and listed companies preferred
• Meticulous and possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Able to multi-task, work independently and meet tight timelines
• Hands-on experience with SAP system is preferred
• Proficient in MS-Excel
