Job Scope:

· Handles full set of accounts (AP/AR/GL)

· Performs month-end closing and prepare Balance Sheet schedules

· Expenses analysis and bank reconciliations

· Prepares GST quarterly return and submission

· Prepares and manages monthly payroll computation and CPF submission

· Assists in tax computation and submission to IRAS

· Prepare Financial Statements including Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and disclosure notes in accordance to IFRS standards

· Other administrative support as assigned

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Accountancy/Finance

· At least 1 year of relevant working experience

· Knowledge and experience with Xero an added advantage

· Organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently

• Responsible for the clients’ insurance renewal process (Portfolio & Experience-rated Plans).
• Provide quotation for Employee Benefits insurance that comes from the online portal enquiry.
• Build good rapport with insurers to secure the best deals for the clients.
• Liaise closely with clients and insurers on policies renewal & new business placement.
• Source new quotations and present it to assigned portfolio.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above.
• BCP, PGI, ComGI, & HI Certified
• At least 3 years of Employee Benefits experience in GI Broking Firm.

Responsibilities

• Review new supplier requests
• Assist in investigating and updating any payment details
• Monitor outstanding invoices and send notifications
• Create and assist in the management of customer records
• Account for all receipts (collection of moneys in the form of cash, cheque and credit card)
• Assist with the administration of stock take exercise(s) for FA.
• Employee Claims and Administration is administered in accordance to the Human Resource and/ or Finance policies
• Prepare the required documentation (e.g., expense report and receipts)
• Liaise with all divisions on accruals of claims and preparation of journal entries for financial month/ year end closing
• Create PO(s) (acquisition/ donation of artwork/artefacts, etc) in relevant systems based on duly approved supporting documentation.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Finance/Procurement Operations
• 2 years of relevant working experience

You will undertake a supervisory role and be expected to manage a team of assistants. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to,

I. Overseeing the revenue collection and account receivables function and to work with stakeholders on arrears recovery

II. Validate the completeness and accuracy of transactions by ensuring that all transactions are authorised, comply with prevailing policies and supporting documents are in order.

III. Monitor integrity of system processes by conducting sampling of transactions to ensure payments are in order.

IV. Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions in accordance with documented processes.

V. Ensure that transactional accounting postings to general ledgers are accurate for the purpose of charging to the correct accounts.

VI. Conduct training to a team of financial appointment holders on procedures for managing and controlling resources and expenditure so as to carry out procurement, payment and reimbursement activities on the finance systems.

VII. Assess and propose changes to the processes, procedures and systems to achieve high level of efficiency and effectiveness.

VIII. Participate in system designs and conduct user acceptance test to ensure that system design meets the operational requirements.

IX. Work closely with IT & relevant parties to resolve payment related issues and ensure payment timeliness.

X. Develop, coach and motivate members of the team to deliver effective, responsive and customer-centric service to customers.

EDUCATION

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accountancy, and/or professional certifications or other equivalent qualifications.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates with 2 years of experience with Accounts background or equivalent professional qualifications will have an advantage.

Diploma holder with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience may also apply.
