What you will do

You will work in a coaching and consulting capacity as a subject matter expert (SMEs) linked through one or more of the Amplify product offerings that relate to better managing claims risk or healthcare funds. You will prep training material for client teams working in claims, provider management and plan design, amongst others. You will problem solve, guide, design, and stress test potential solutions and initiatives, some of which may link to Amplify products, whilst others may be bespoke.

As a Lead Risk Management Consultant you are required to actively support the in-country client engagement team in understanding the client’s ambitions, needs and gaps as they relate to your area of expertise, as well as work more broadly across the region in raising awareness around Amplify’s expert team capabilities.

How you would make a difference

Your primary responsibilities include:

· Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients (private insurers or government healthcare funders) in the management of their business towards seeking higher value healthcare funding

What you need to be successful

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor or master’s degree (e.g., healthcare, wellness, business, economics)

· 10+ years of working experience in healthcare domain with 5+ years of health insurance or public health funder strategic risk management experience in topics such as funding models, value-based care, claims cost containment, and provider performance-based contracting.

· Clinical background ideal but open to other backgrounds so long as have proficiency in clinical terminology and clinical work, deep understanding of population health concepts, medical procedures, patient journeys, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering/Construction Management. Experience in lieu of college degree may be accepted
• 10 to 15 years working experience of Offshore or Onshore Oil & Gas Projects especially EPCI phase as Project Management or (preferable for Offshore, especially FPSO Projects experience)
• Preferable to have experience on Cost Estimation on Bid/FEED on Offshore or Onshore Oil & Gas Projects (preferable for Offshore, especially FPSO Projects experience)

Technical Competencies

- Familiar with FPSO projects including some technical knowledge.
- Basic understanding of project management process.
- Strong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Excel.

• Design and maintain SOPs to facilitate Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Transaction Surveillance activities.
• Review Anti-Money Laundering (AML) alerts and assist to clear/ escalate for further investigations.
• Assist to highlight gaps in existing workflows and controls, propose recommendations on how to enhance AML operations and increase productivity
• Foster an environment of open dialogue with team members, and improve collaboration in the team.
• Supervise and offer guidance, as well as constructive feedback to team members in managing day-to-day operational activities.
• Develop ways of increasing the team's productivity
• Support any ad-hoc projects

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Banking space
• Well-versed in AML/CFT related MAS regulations and guidelines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team lead or supervisory role experience would be preferred

Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

• Responsible for managing overall profitability of respective product line.
• Management of overall product strategy. Identify key product trends and work with both internal and external parties to establish product ideas and generation.

Business Performance and Management

• Assisting with ad-hoc department projects, client seminars and monthly investment meetings.
• Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.

People Management

• Key contact point between external partners and primary gatekeeper to assess product viability.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure proper Due Diligence on Investments and Bancassurance products prior to product launch, and proper updates and documentation of the department's policies & procedures.

Relevant Work Experience

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Basic accounting & financial modelling (for business cases)
