Job Overview

We are looking for a competent Investment Research Analyst to join our single family office based in Singapore. As an Investment Research Analyst, you will play an important role in assisting the team with investment decision-making by conducting thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and analysis on potential investment deals across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments such as real estate and private equity.
• Evaluate and analyse company financial statements, industry trends, and macro-economic factors to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Assist in portfolio management activities, including asset allocation and risk assessment .
• Monitor and track existing investments, including regular updates on market conditions, macro-economics , industry dynamics, and regulatory changes.
• Prepare period investment reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting and/or finance, or CFA qualifications.
• Bilingual in written and spoken English and Mandarin , which is required for performing your work in market research, financial analysis and due diligence , especially with Mandarin-speaking investee companies.
• Good knowledge and skillset in financial analyses and investment valuation techniques
• Proficiency in utilizing financial databases, research tools, and software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to gather and analyse investment data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare comprehensive investment reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic to uphold confidentiality and high ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
• A good team player, self-motivated with good communication, analytical abilities and collaborative skills.
