Insurance Operations

Claims Handling

• Hold a degree in Accounting or its equivalent.
• Preferably possess 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting; entry-level candidates may also be considered.
• Proficient in GL and Financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is an added advantage.
• With preference of experience in Education industry

Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager

• Work Location: Yishun
• Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in consolidation of group accounts and preparation of annual statutory audit reports
• Experience with SAP GL, AR, AP, FA and CO applications

Role:

Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, you will lead the accounting team and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial reporting and analysis
• Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages
• Monitor and analyze the accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Oversee the month-end, quarterly and year-end closing and reporting to local management and Munich Global Accounting
• Lead & supervise a team of Accounting Staff in day-to-day operations
• Lead and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits
• Lead and liaise with Group Auditors for internal audits
• Responsible for Corporate Tax (including Branches), MES and GST audit, reporting and filing
• Ensure compliances to both local and global accounting guidelines
• Undertake and lead financial projects
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
