The Insurance Specialist (IS) is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Responsibilities:

• Support sales delivery to our internal and external partners through dual delivery model in follow-up and responsiveness.
• Responsible for supporting internal and external growth initiatives communicated to team.
• Responsible for dissemination of communications.
• Provide support on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities.
• Increase efficiencies of daily sales and operational activities.
• Responsible for reporting sales results and reasons for successes.
• Support sales executives with specific business initiatives; create, lead and advise on sales and product training; and support growth of sales.
• Liaise between sales teams and branches on initiatives.
• Represent sales on the development of strategies and programs to effectively partner with the bank.
• Responsible for partnering sales leadership to deliver activities, programs and promotions on monthly sales and marketing calls.
• Liaise with partners to develop marketing opportunities to maximize growth in sales and customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction.
• Work in coordination with sales executives in creating, driving and supporting business plans and initiatives.

• Provide daily market update and trading strategic plan for clients and individual sales staff.
• Use a holistic financial planning approach to educate and help customers identify financial gaps in their current wealth or asset allocation and to introduce suitable products.
• Coaching and motivation on banking (FX, Insurance, etc) products through daily interactions.
• Provide branch colleagues updates on particular products by regular market update and technical analysis.
• Work with Branch Managers to set plan to meet financial commitment.
• Assist bankers on meeting team goals.
• Strictly abide by the requirements of compliance & internal control on sales activities.
• Maintain and manage good relationships with customers and to ensure customers have a consistent and superior banking experience.

• Relevant CMFAS and M papers required

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing and processing invoices for payment and ensure all AP transactions are processed timely and accurately.
• Review request of new vendor creation in accounting systems and ensure policy and procedures are strictly adhere to.
• Provide strong support and guidance to junior staff and able to take initiative to resolve disputes pertaining to Accounts Payable matters.
• Support Finance Manager with adhoc projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements for Specialist:

1. Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
2. Preferably 8 years’ experience in AP operational processes with some supervisory experience.
3. Willing to support Ad hoc tasks assigned by Finance Manager.
4. Hands-on experience with Microsoft office and ERP system.
5. Proficient in Excel

7. Meticulous, organised, pro-active and able to work under pressure
