In a team of 5 reporting to the Vice President, the successful candidate will oversight of the administration of commission payments to partners for Singapore Life Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
•Ensure commission payments are processed timely and accurately
•Provide business operations support relating to commission
•Ensure accounting entries pertaining to payments are captured timely and accurately in systems
•Ensure all requests and enquiries pertaining to commission payments are promptly addressed
•Constant review and improve controls to ensure relevance
•Constant review in processes to identify improvement opportunities
•Provide support in project testing according to timelines
•Responsible in the documentation of key processes and controls
•Exercise prudence and highlight any suspicious transactions/ risk
•Responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders on audit matters
•Support year end filing of IRAS for partner’s commission income
•Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
Requirements
Experience
•Has 1-3 years of good working knowledge in finance operations/ payable functions
•Individual should be detail oriented, with strong time management skills
•Knowledge of internal control principles and practices
•Highly motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Comfortable to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both at individual and team level
•Good understanding of insurance products and impact on finance related functions
•Good working knowledge of AS400, Elixir, FNZ, Oracle

- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy / Finance / Business
