You will be responsible to ensure day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and checking all accounting related entries submitted by stakeholders are accurate in the system.

This role will act as the intermediaries between other internal departments within the organization and also liaise with external parties with regards to accounting related matters.

4. Back-End Collection Creation & Refund Processing

FINANCE SUPPORT & REPORTING

1. Bank Related Support & Liaison

2. General Insurance Coverage

3. Payment Terminals Arrangement & Follow-up

4. Liaise with Company Secretary

5. Liaise with Singapore Department of Statistics

6. Ad Hoc Tasks/Projects assigned

Requirements

1. Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Accounting / ACCA

2. 1 years’ experience in related AR / AP / GL Accounting functions will be advantage

3. Fresh Diploma or Degree Graduates may apply

4. Meticulous and analytical

5. Business acumen & Finance savvy

6. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

7. Intermediate or advance level competency in MS Excel

Budget controlling

- Manage all subsidiaries under the region to achieve financial target

- Liaise with BUs for sales and profit improvement

- Reporting for the visibility of business performance to management and BUs

- Identify management and business issues and propose for solution from FAD perspective

- Support the Mid-term plan by communicating with BUs

Inventory and AR improvement

- Liaise with business for inventory to achieve the target

- Liaise with all subsidiaries to achieve AR target

- Initiate to develop and implement operational rule and tools

Cooperation with headquarter in Japan

- Establish a good relationship with Japan headquarters for better cooperation.

- Reporting the financial numbers and provide analysis to Japan headquarters in a timely manner.

- Understand Japan headquarters’ direction and deploy it to the region

Requirement

•  Experience in our group budgeting operation for more than 2 years
•  Sufficient knowledge of our entire group business
•  USGAAP/IFRS accounting knowledge
•  Possess good knowledge of business controlling
•  Team management and leadership skill.
•  Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•  Possess good disposition.
•  Good project management skill.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication in both English & Japanese as this role will need to liaise frequently with headquarters in Japan

To support Finance Lead in the payment workstream, to review and approve payment transactions for the College of Design & Engineering and providing advisory support and ensuring compliance with University’s Financial Policies and Procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Counter-check invoices and Request for Payments (RFP)
• Approve the invoices and RFPs in the system
• Provide advisory on payment policies and procedures
• Other administrative tasks assigned

Qualifications

• O-level or Polytechnic Diploma in any field;
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant working experience;
• Meticulous with great attention to details
• A good team player with positive attitude;
• Customer centric mindset and Good communications skill;
• Familiar with MS Office applications;
