Job Purpose

Responsible for accurately evaluating vehicle damage, determining repair costs, and providing detailed estimates for insurance claims. To coordinate with insurance companies, suppliers, contractors and all other relevant parties to expedite repairs of vehicles and ensure smooth running of workshop operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct damage assessment of accident vehicles and prepare repair cost estimates.
• Coordinate with insurance surveyors on repairs of vehicles and insurance claim process.
• Collaborate with all repairers to ensure vehicles are repaired according to standards and on time
• Laise with insurance claims officers and ensure all claims paperwork is completed and processed.
• Conduct QC of vehicles before releasing vehicles to customers and rectify issues.
• Ensure detailed documentation of condition of vehicles before and after repairs.
• To attend to vehicle hirers and owners and address their feedback promptly.
• To manage and coordinate spare parts availability and procurement
• Check condition of returning vehicles and ensure rectifications are invoiced and/or completed
• Ensure workplace safety in compliance with company safety framework
• Any other tasks and assignments given by manager

Skills & Experience Required

• Min 3 years of experience in Automotive Industry as an Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator
• Possess good customer oriented and comunication skills
• Proficient with MS windows and MS office
• Experience with Audatex, Merimen and eBao systems is an advantage

Qualifications/ Certifications Required

• Min 'O' level or NTC 2 equivalent.
• Preferably to have class 3 driving licence.
