Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a sizable team managing across the full spectrum of accounting and finance function, prepare for the month end and year closing of entity books, preparation of group consolidation and management reports, financial statement for audit purposes.

Job description:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company.

• Oversee financial department employees, including accountants, senior account executive and account executives.

• Check, review and approved payment to vendor.

• Prepare weekly cash flow projections to facilitate critical decision-making.

• Monitor cash flows and bank balance position

• Conduct bi-weekly AR meeting with sales team.

• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.

• Manage and oversee regional management account.

• Review and prepare company’s taxes and GST are submitted on time.

• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.

• Liaising with the external professionals such as banker, corporate secretarial agents, tax agents, auditors etc. in relation to the corporate finance matters.

• Perform ad-hoc assignments assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 3-5 years of experience.

• Knowledge of XERO and or ERP Netsuite Oracle system will be added advantage.

• Experience in financial consolidation.

• Highly organised and detail-oriented.

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and with strong personal character.

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.

• Proficient in written Chinese is required as this role is required to communicate with Taiwan officer.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, Finance, we are looking for a self-starter and a good team player with great interpersonal and communication skills who can be a valuable member to the team, under the Group Finance department.

This job function also requires someone who is highly meticulous with strong analytical skills and a good problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly group consolidation and variance analysis.
• Resolve accounting and auditing issues.
• Provide accounting technical support to business units.
• Preparation of annual financial statements.
• Coordination of annual budget process and preparation of the Group Budget.
• Coordination of consolidation of the Country-by-Country Reporting.
• Liaise closely with subsidiaries’ finance teams to ensure timely submission of quarterly and monthly reports.
• Ensure that processes and systems are running in an effective manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly reports to Headquarter.
• Ensure timely updates of bank signatories.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors.
• Perform other duties and assume responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.

Requirements

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy
• At least 5 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably with 3 years of experience in audit firm.
• Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International).
• Good group financial consolidation and management reporting skills.
• Experience in SGX listed entities is a plus.
• Experienced in Financial Analysis.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with Cognos Consolidation System is a plus.
