About The Opportunity

As a Clinical Admin, you will be a key member of our Clinic and Medical Centre, ensuring the efficient management of administrative tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of our facility.

What You'll be Doing

Claims and Billing Management

• Submission of claims to corporate programme and insurer portals. Accurately and promptly submit insurance claims and follow up on any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Manage invoicing and billing to patients and clients. Prepare and send invoices to patients and clients, track payments, and manage any billing inquiries or issues.

Medical Records Office

• Manage incoming and outgoing medical reports. Handle the receipt, processing, and distribution of medical reports, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage laboratory reports. Receive and verify lab results, submitting to doctor for review and compiling into medical reports for patients, liaison with lab partner on queries and issues.

Communication and Correspondence

• Monitor and respond to emails from patients, clients, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle incoming phone calls, provide information, schedule appointments, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns. Address patient questions and concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Appointment scheduling and coordination. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinate with medical staff, and manage the appointment calendar.

Operational Support

• Support clinic operations. Assist with various administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the clinic, including registering/discharging patients at the counter, clerical tasks, restocking of clinic supplies and other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking for

• ITE, Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a Medical administrative role or similar position is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using medical software and office applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Head of Risk Management in the direct oversight of the Company’s credit portfolio, market risk & liquidity risk management (mainly Interest Rate Risk via Asset & Liability Management). This would include the implementation of the credit, market and liquidity risk framework, policies and procedures.
• Providing accurate and appropriate risk information and opinion for Asset and Liability Management Committee (“ALCO”) and credit portfolio reports for (Credit Portfolio Committee (“CPC”).
• Performing in-depth, ad-hoc analysis and formulating an opinion and escalation to Senior Management as needed.
• Provide support for regulatory requests eg. Provision of regulatory reports and analysis.
• Effective collaboration with Finance, Marketing and Loan Admin Departments for credit, market and liquidity risk related matters.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics or quantitative specialization
• With 1 - 3 years’ experience in risk management or relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge in credit analysis is an advantage.

The Opportunity

As part of the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice you will provide a well-integrated broad array of risk management and regulatory advisory services to financial institutions with a focus on regulatory compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant in the FSRM team, you will be leading EY services in the market through business development, sales, project planning and high-quality project execution. You will be leading projects relating to:

• Compliance Frameworks – understanding of core compliance functions and related technology applications addressing compliance risk assessment, policy management, testing, monitoring and surveillance and reporting
• Regulatory gap assessments and remediation
• Provide updates to the industry on the latest relevant laws and regulations required for the financial institutions
• Advice and guidance on structuring approaches to emerging regulatory compliance or regulatory exam findings

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong understanding of and practical experience related to regulatory requirements across various market activities of FIs such as:

1. Banking Act, SFA, FAA, underlying regulations, and SGX rules. Insurance Regulatory Compliance knowledge as added advantage.
2. Institutional / Investment banking compliance topics and issues relevant to capital markets activity including conflicts of interest, information barriers, insider trading, restricted trading / control room processes, market abuse and conduct
3. Private banking / wealth management compliance related to key topics regarding suitability, sales practices, new product processes, or client money
4. Retail /consumer banking compliance incl. consumer protection, conduct, treating customers fairly, mortgage and consumer lending regulation
5. Knowledge of banking products, market conventions and sales practice
6. Regulatory requirements related to enterprise risk management such as capital adequacy, stress testing, or risk governance
7. Ability to develop and implement practical client solutions and execute projects based on key compliance principles
8. Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
9. Effective leadership, project management and teamwork skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3 years or more relevant experience relevant risk management domain, a few years of which in a consulting firm
• Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Computational Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or equivalent preferred
• Industry related certification is a plus (e.g., FRM, CPA/ CA, CFA)
