Financial Crime

The Financial Crime (FC) Function is a Second line of defence (LOD) function that includes ”Risk Stewards” who are independent of the commercial risk-taking activities undertaken by the Group’s businesses (also referred to as “the First LOD” or “FLOD”). The FC Function also operates a set of critical controls on behalf of the FLOD by harnessing intelligence, analytics, technology, detection and investigation. The Risk Stewards are responsible for reviewing and challenging all the activities of the FLOD to ensure that, as “Risk Owners”, they effectively manage the FC risk inherent in, or arising from, the conduct of their activities and for which they are responsible. Enhanced due diligence includes source of wealth, source of funds, purpose of account, assessment of negative news and any indicators of financial crime. Job Description:

1. To comb queue and assist customers with transactions at Self Service banking machines (ATM/CAM)
2. To assist customers to complete forms
3. To assist customers with internet banking transactions using the Ipad
4. To assist customers to open accounts with Ipad
5. To assist customers to update & change passbooks
6. To perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Min. GCE 'O' Level and above
• Customer service experience
• Experience dealing with crowds will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate management reports, including monthly forecasts and semi-annual budgets, with variance and trend analysis for the region.
• Assist in developing budgets and forecasts, ensuring they reflect strategic goals and business priorities.
• Analyze financial performance and key metrics to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with various departments to collect and verify financial data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide analysis and insights that connect financial reports to business strategies.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to support management decisions.
• Handle other tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good in numbers and data.
• Proficient in MS Office including Power BI, Vlookup, Pivot Table and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to provide corporate insurance broking advice and placement for clients.
• Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and advise on coverage options.
• Gather necessary underwriting information from clients for submission to underwriters.
• Evaluate and advise on quoted insurance rates, terms, and conditions.
• Secure insurance placements with underwriters, ensuring the required support from various markets.
• Prepare essential documentation for insurance placement, including quotation and placement slips, schedules, cover notes, endorsements, and closing slips.
• Ensure required documents are sent to insurers and clients by coordinating with the Administrative team.
• Monitor clients' accounts and collect outstanding payments.
• Review renewal business and take action to renew expiring policies.
• Execute special assignments and related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Banking, Finance or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcomed to apply or candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in insurance related industry
• Capable of working independently in a demanding work environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
