Requirements

• Academic background in the following subjects is preferred: finance, accounting, economics, business, sustainable/green finance, sustainability management, or related disciplines. A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree in one of these subjects is preferred, with a PhD degree required for the Research Fellow position.
• Basic understanding of financial sector (banks and other financial institutions), financial markets, corporate financial statements, and credit risk analysis, is required.

The primary role of the Head of Finance, Singapore Branch (“Role”) is to provide a single point of contact for Accounting, Regulatory, Controlling and Tax related issues of the Singapore branch for Senior Management and external Regulatory, Supervisory, Audit and similar entities.

• Part of Accounting duties is the preparation of the yearly financial package and relationship with external Auditors for its finalization.
• Ensure payables processing, including invoices settlement and booking, as well as GST processing.
• Preparation and timely submission of regulatory returns to local monetary and regulatory Authorities as appropriate.
• Liaison with the Branch’s auditors and financial advisors to ensure that the Branch meet their legal and Tax obligations, liaising with Tax function in the Head Office.
• "Campaign Leader" for Law262 reporting for the Branch (if required).
• Active participation to all UniCredit Group projects and initiatives which involve the Branch or projects requested by the CFO in the Head Office.
