Job Description:

1) Coordinate and drive the development and execution of innovation ideas by identifying key trends in Transaction Banking including evolving technologies like AI, ML, DLT etc.
2) Coordinate with various internal teams to ensure that the agreed innovation and digital initiatives are prioritized and work with various team to take this forward.
3) Understanding the evolving client needs and market changes based on the discussion with the Cash and Trade Product teams and aligning and building innovation and digital roadmap.
4) Responsible for ensuring that all the DX initiatives are Fit for Purpose and seamlessly working with Legal, Compliance, Treasury and Cash Product Development team, Implementation towards this.
5) Ensure proper commercialization of innovation and Digital initiatives by working with the APAC Cash and Trade Product teams.
6) Contribute to GTBD's internal education and communication and bring members' interest in DX to a certain level of knowledge.

Job Requirements:

• 5-10 years of Transaction Banking business experience including in Asia region
• 3-5 years of experience in Transaction Banking related innovation in Asia region and digital initiatives and some experience in the latest technologies like AI, ML, DLT etc.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization including using influencing skill to drive business
• Bias for action and ability to get things done; Perseverant, Analytical and ability to manage ambiguity.

• Conduct financial planning, analysis, and variance reporting for decision-making.
• Prepare cashflow projections, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, including reviewing operational assumptions.
• Support business teams in evaluating investments/divestments and address financial impacts with accounting and tax teams.
• Coordinate with joint venture (JV) partners on financial matters such as dividends and loans.
• Assist in reviewing and updating Financial Authorization Limits annually.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, automation, and digitalization.
• Consolidation & Reporting:
• Assist in segment-level financial consolidation and reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for group-level requirements.
• Liaise with auditors on group audits and collaborate with Accounts & Operations teams on submissions.
• Other Duties:
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or department heads.
• Adapt to changes in responsibilities due to secondments, transfers, or promotions as communicated by the company.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/ACCA or a relevant professional accounting qualification, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International).
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and teamwork skills with attention to detail.
• Independent worker with excellent communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP S4/BPC is advantageous.
• Open to job rotations and changes in work scope.

• Familiarity with financial documentation and trade registers is an advantage.
