- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the trading business.
- Overseeing in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements and create purchase orders.
- Monitor and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Utilize SAP system to process purchase requisitions, track inventory levels, and generate reports.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Assist in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Provide support in executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- At least 4 – 6 years of purchasing/ procurement with inventory planning experience.
- Prior experience in using SAP system will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in cross trade/ international shipment and incoterms will be ideal.
