As we embark on this journey, we are seeking an accomplished Managing Director to lead our local retail and e-commerce businesses, overseeing the entire Singapore operation and taking charge of the Profit and Loss (P&L).

Job Description:

As the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. You will be responsible for driving the success of our entire business in Singapore, encompassing our extensive retail footprint and rapidly growing e-commerce ventures. This position demands strategic vision, exceptional leadership, and a passion for achieving outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-looking business strategy that fosters growth, profitability, and market leadership in both the retail and e-commerce sectors.
• Financial Stewardship: Assume full ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) for our Singapore business, ensuring financial objectives are met and exceeded.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, nurturing a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and processes to optimize retail operations and enhance the online shopping experience.
• Expansion Initiatives: Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including the potential opening of new retail locations and expansion into additional e-commerce channels.
• Market Insights: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.
• Partnerships and Collaborations: Foster and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations that drive business development and enhance our market presence.
• Customer-Centric Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional in-store and online shopping experiences.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record as a Managing Director or in an executive leadership role within the retail industry.
• Extensive experience managing P&L and achieving ambitious financial targets.
• Strong background in leading and overseeing both retail operations and e-commerce ventures.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Visionary thinker with the ability to set and execute a clear strategic direction.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen.
• Familiarity with the Singapore retail market is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
