We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Court Manager to oversee the establishment and efficient operation of a new food court. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up the food court, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of culinary and service professionals. The Food Court Manager will play a crucial role in recruiting and training staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Food Court Setup:
- Collaborate with the project team to design and set up the food court layout.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment installation, signage, and overall aesthetic appeal.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the setup phase.
Staff Recruitment and Training:
- Lead the recruitment process for culinary and service staff, including chefs, cooks, cashiers, and cleaning staff.
- Develop comprehensive training programs for all food court employees.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to established standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Implement effective cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Customer Service:
- Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on food safety and hygiene standards, implementing necessary changes.
- Work closely with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a motivated and high-performing team.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive work culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service management, with a focus on setting up and running food courts or similar establishments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food service management.
Selected applicant will be tasked to work Mon - Fri for the initial period where the incumbent will need to assist with the setting up of of the Food Court
