Responsibilities:
- Being able to perform testing of different electrical installations and equipment and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Assist Engineers in installation, repair and preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment and power, lighting systems and circuitry in the plant.
- Able to follow the work order and monitor monthly maintenance for existing equipment.
- Carry out the trouble shooting and other additional work requested by the supervisor as and when necessary.
Requirements:
- Nitec(NTC,ITE) or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering related discipline
- Have at least 1-year electrical experience in the manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of chemicals process in relation to production machinery and equipment will be an added advantage
- Able to read and understand department procedure and work instruction
- Able to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
- This position is for shift work from 8:00am to 17:00pm or vice versa.
