Our imaging centre is now looking for a Radio-Sonographer, who can perform both radiography and sonography (ultrasound) services. Candidates with experience in multiple modalities will be highly advantageous.
Duties will include but not limited to;
- Perform Radiography and Sonography services to patients as requested by referring physicians or as allowed by statutory regulations and according to acceptable standards.
- To ensure familiarization of use and correct handling of imaging equipment to avoid incorrect equipment usage.
- Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
- Provide quality customer service to patients.
- To ensure compliance of radiology safety policy.
- Other assignments as and when required.
Requirement
- Degree in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Candidates who can perform various modalities (including ultrasound) will be considered.
- Preferably with 2-3 years of experience.
- AHPC Certification is a must.
- Mature and possess a strong sense of commitment and dedication.
- Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to present a professional image and deliver top-quality customer service at all times.
- Able to handle difficult situations like patients satisfaction issues within diagnostics centers.
