RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide service to all customers
- Preparation work of Hall opening and closing operation hours
- Maintain quality, service & cleanliness at all times
- Assist other positions when required

Job Descriptions:

• Regularly perform checks on food safety, hygiene, quality, processes, and adherence to Halal requirements in production, supply chain, and logistics.
• Prepare and manage documentation related to food safety, hygiene, quality, and processes.
• Conduct daily site walks throughout the facility.
• Check retention samples regularly.
• Collaborate with the microbiological laboratory for sample collection and lab reports.
• Ensure timely follow-up with Procurement on investigations and corrective actions concerning raw material complaints or customer feedback.
• Assist in internal audits and support external audits
• Prepare and liaise with warehouse team on export procedures e.g. placement of temperature data logger device.
• Perform basic troubleshoot and liaise with external vendors for routine servicing and issue follow up
• Provide support to customers’ request / feedback e.g. questionnaire, product specification, shelf life lab test reports.
• Preparation of training materials e.g. photos, attendance sheet, assessment.
• Coordination with HODs on training schedule.
• Any other duties assigned by QA manager

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must hold at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics, or equivalent.
• Required skills: Computer Literacy, MS Excel, MS Word.
• A minimum of 1 year of working experience in the related field is necessary for this position.
• Relevant experience in the Food & Beverage industry is advantageous.

Kitchen Jobscope:

- Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned and to meet the standard and the quality set by the restaurant

- Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.

- Responsible to supervise junior staff

- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

- Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.

- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.

- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.

- Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.

- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils

- Consults daily with Head Chef on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last minute events.

- Should be able to set an example to others for personal hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty.

• Act as the main subject matter expert, formulating policies and procedures related to procurement and planning.
• Oversee the purchasing system, Costpoint, providing strategic direction on procurement actions, approval workflows and thresholds, and tracking related to Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure procurement management aligns with corporate standards.
• Stay informed about Import/Export regulations, ensuring compliance, and providing coaching/training to staff to adhere to regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chains, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, preferably in food sourcing/purchasing.
• Experience in frozen food imports.
• Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with a strong motivation to deliver cost savings.
• Excellent at guiding and mentoring team members for accuracy in forecasts and inventory management.
• Strong leader with good decision-making abilities and the capacity to multitask.
• Proven track record of collaboration (cross-functional) and delivering results as a team contributor and coach.
• Strong business acumen, open-minded approach, and the ability to effectively manage relationships throughout the organization and supplier relationship management skills.
