Job Description

• Providing legal support to business teams in relation to a wide range of commercial matters
• Collaborating with the relevant business teams to ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations, implementing and improving processes and procedures
• Keeping appraised of the latest laws and regulations impacting the company and its operations in the region and advise on best practices
• Working closely with the rest of the SEA team and the global team on group's global and region legal and compliance projects
• Managing external counsels whenever required
• Providing day-to-day legal support to business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Law with at least 8PQE gained at reputable law firms and experience with large corporations such as MNCs
• Essential for candidates with strong prior experience in F&B, joint venture and franchising
• Comfortable and confident to work independently as sole Counsel in Singapore and SEA
