NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Public, International & Alumni Relations (PIAR) department as an Executive, Hospitality Relations.

Responsibilities

Primary

Reporting to the Manager or Head of Department, this role will manage the Institute’s Hospitality Relations matters, including:

· Co-manage incoming visits to NIE as part of building brand engagement and experience.

· Co-manage protocol-related matters for official visits and events.

· Work closely with the different departments to facilitate visit requests.

· Co-manage the Institute’s graduation ceremonies in various areas including guest management, production of graduation videos, receptions, etc.

· Co-manage the NIE Visitors Learning Centre.

· Co-manage the coordination and submission of various corporate reports to key internal and external stakeholders.

· Manage the entire process for corporate gifts, including selection, procurement, personalization, inventory management, and timely distribution to colleagues and visitors.

Secondary

Support the Institute and department’s initiatives and projects as required, including:

· Work with the social media team to ensure content is accurate, current and engaging.

· To assist all other NIE departments in branding and marketing strategies as and when required, such as managing print or motion production that supports the branding initiatives of the Institute.

· Assist in University events as and when necessary.

Requirements

· Minimally a polytechnic diploma in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or Communications.

· Good written and oral communication skills and strong networking skills.

· Proven experience in partner/event management, working with diverse teams to achieve objectives.

· Strong attention to details.

· Experience in hospitality or service industry will be an advantage.

· A dynamic team player who can also work independently.

· Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Executive, Outreach, Publicity and Planning in the Office of Graduate Studies & Professional Learning (GPL). This is a 2-year contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparatory work to curate content for local and overseas publications, advertorials, social media platforms, etc.
• Content creation (visuals and videos) for digital marketing, publicity materials and collaterals for GPL.
• Assist in the coordination and planning of local and overseas outreach events and activities.
• Support the maintenance of NIE GPL’s marketing content calendar, including organic and paid campaigns.
• Maintain NIE GPL’s mailing lists.
• Collect data for reports.
• Support the administrative functions within the team to ensure that marketing activities meet the goals and objectives of GPL’s overarching marketing strategy.
• Work closely with key appointment holders and administrative colleagues in GPL to fulfill job requirements.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

• A Polytechnic Diploma.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in marketing, branding, advertising, etc.
• Able to create marketing materials including, but not limited to, print advertisements, digital articles, social media artwork, shortform videos and video clips, etc.
• Familiarity with Search Engine Marketing will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of markup languages, e.g., HTML.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge in design and video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
• Strong administrative and project management skills, with the ability to work under tight timelines and follow up on work promptly.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• May be required to travel and/or work on weekends.

• Maintain and monitor the training records of administrative staff.

General admin:

• Ensure smooth communication and dissemination of policy and information to AG staff.
• Provide administrative and logistics support in LSA AG events.
• Support administrative processes at LSA AG.
• Other duties assigned.
