The Compliance Counsel will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Ethics & Compliance program.
The position may also be expected to provide legal support on various matters related to the company’s global business operations, particularly within the shipping sector in APAC, monitoring the legal developments and changes in legislation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified lawyer, with approximately 10 years of extensive experience in corporate compliance, ethics, and legal functions, ideally in global maritime or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of international compliance regulations, including sanctions, anti-bribery laws, and data protection.
- Proven track record in risk management, compliance system implementation, and training development.
