Job Overview:

• Responsible for executing financial and accounting operations, ensuring that all transactions are processed promptly and accurately in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) established with customers. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely updates for all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in the accounting system efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor outstanding AR balances and manage the debt recovery process.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements, as well as financial and management reports, for review by the Supervisor or Officer-in-Charge.
• Verify expenditure bills, financial records, and reports to ensure compliance with current procedures, guidelines, and accounting practices.
• Conduct briefings and training sessions for finance personnel on policies, procedures, and systems.
• Safeguard financial documents and maintain the confidentiality of customer financial information.
• Address customer queries regarding financial transactions and postings.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE NITEC in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance/accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Team player with strong attention to detail, able to work independently, and possesses analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and report on budgets, forecast and management including sales, profit, and inventory based on HQ Korea’s reporting templates, on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Including Yearly Business Plan.
• Analyse financial performance in comparison to budgets and forecasts
• Prepare and maintain daily cash flow reports.
• Perform pre-closing checks and generate sales-related reports.
• Prepare Bank loan requisition form
• Process and manage employee payroll.
• Provide backup support for the local accountant.
• Assist with auditing processes.
• Liaise with the HQ financial team to ensure alignment and accurate reporting.
• Ad hoc duties assigned by Management

Required / Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Proficient Korean language knowledge is mandatory to liaise with the Korean stakeholders in Anseong, Korea
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consolidation and business reporting or relevant field
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel) skills.

• Responsible, resourceful and able to work independently

3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in tax and accounting roles.
4. Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software, comprehensive understanding of Singapore tax laws, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
6. Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex tax challenges.

Job Description

1. Assist in preparing of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
2. Assist in drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets & cash flow.
3. Assist in gathering data and providing necessary support during preparation of tax return. Coordinate with tax agent and review tax returns.
4. Supervising month-end closing processes.
5. Managing daily financial and accounting transactions, including cash management, receivables, payables, banking, and foreign exchange.
6. Monitoring cash flow requirements.
7. Performing monthly reconciliations for accounts, including banks and sub-ledger.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting
2. 3 years experience in accounting role
3. Knowledge Required:
a. A good understanding of financial management, especially statutory requirements.
b. Familiar with tax laws, accounting standards, and audits.
4. Skills Required:
a. Analytical thinking with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
b. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
