• Overseeing and reviewing day-to-day financial operations within the company

• Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
• Able to lead and provide guidance to team members to meet reporting deadlines
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external party such as bank, and auditors.
• Monitor and review schedules for the interim and year-end audit

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder
• At least 3 years of accounting full function experience

• Collaborate closely with the processing team to monitor and resolve outstanding balances on problematic accounts.
  
• Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable:
• Allocate cash receipts and payments to ledger transactions promptly.
• Report unidentified cash to relevant departments and monitor until resolved.
• Settle balances with insured parties, insurance companies, third parties, and agents' commissions via bank transfers.
  
• Operating Expenses:
• Settle all office operating expenses as instructed, using bank transfers.
  
• Reporting:
• Prepare aged debt reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Post entries in the accounting system (Xero).
• Submit GST returns.

Role Description of Accounts Executive:

• Generate and issue sales invoices on a daily basis.
• Maintain a daily log for invoices and payments.
• Update daily records for sales and purchases, covering Physical, Paper, and Opex transactions, and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly maintenance and valuation of inventory.
• Handle monthly updates and valuation of physical fair values.
• Review and reclassify suspense accounts, ensuring accurate recording of freight costs in the system.
• Track and manage invoice due dates to ensure timely payments.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AP & GL accounting
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry will be a bonus
