We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Italian and/or Japanese cuisine and a keen interest in fusion cooking. You will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to our mission of delivering an exceptional dining experience.

• Lead a team and assist a chef
• Prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese and Italian-Japanese fusion dishes with precision and flair.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented to the highest standard and in line with our restaurant's concept.
• Manage kitchen inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
• Create a menu with the chef.
• Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Job Requirements

• 3 years of western or Italian, or Japanese cook experience
• Willing to learn and can-do attitude

Working hours

• 5 to 5.5 days a week,
• 44 hours a week + OT( 8 hours on average)

Job Descriptions

• Handling and managing the cafe requirements to government
• Manage and oversee daily front and back operations of the cafe
• Managing of cafe financial objectives by forecasting requirements, cost control, track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment and scheduling expenditures when necessary
• Report on financial performance, inventory and staff
• Process payroll and all relevant records
• Carry out weekly schedule planning for staff
• Ensure compliance to operational standards and procedures
• Hire, train and provide on-going communication to staff and deliver excellent service to customers

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality preferred
• 3-5 years of food and beverage service industry experience required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leaderships skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
• Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Required to work 6 days per week (inclusive of weekends and public holidays)
• Good Communication in English

The appointee will plan, implement and oversee Addition & Alteration (A&A) works in SP Campus.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Manage the full spectrum of project cycle which covers planning, consultation with users and authorities, preparation of tenders and management of external contractors and consultants
• Oversee and manage contract administration matters such as processing payment claims, assessing the need for variation works, extension of time, loss and expense, final accounts and handling of contractual disputes.
• Lead and manage site staff, consultants and contractors including conducting of design reviews and value management sessions to ensure optimisation of engineering designs that promotes sustainability, construction productivity and safety.
• Coordinate matters related to statutory requirement of buildings on campus
• Manage changes to project scope and project schedule.
• Plan and facilitate project meetings and ensure all follow-up action is taken in a timely manner

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Building Science, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or related discipline.
• Preferably 5 years of relevant project management experience in Civil & Structural works or Mechanical & Electrical works.
• Experience in Public Sector procurement procedures and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
• Experience in leading project development teams, contract administration, resolving design & site issues.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, a good team player and able to multi-task.
• Certification as Licensed Electrical Worker, Fire Safety Manager and/or GMA/ GMAP/ GMAAP will be an advantage.

• To maintain cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, etc throughout the day.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 6 days work week / on rotating shifts.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• A good team player and be able to relate to different levels of people.
• Able to work overtime, on weekends & public holidays when required.
• Singaporeans only.
