The Restructuring and Insolvency team

Our Restructuring and Insolvency team works closely with industry professionals, companies and their stakeholders to identify and resolve issues affecting profitability, protect enterprise value and facilitate a full recovery where possible.

Responsibilities

• Managing and executing day to day issues on restructuring and insolvency engagements (being, amongst others, liquidation, receivership, judicial management, scheme of arrangement, monitoring / exceptional accountant, debt restructuring and personal insolvency work)
• Liaising with stakeholders, creditors and other advisors
• Preparing draft correspondence, reports and presentations
• Reconstructing of (complex) accounting records from incomplete information
• Undertaking investigative work for the benefit of recovering assets for the insolvent estate and company analysis, including financial modelling where necessary

Qualifications and skills

• Assist in managing the operations through but not limited to scheduling, assigning of duties, table management in view of business levels and up keeping of hygiene and sanitation.

Job Requirements:

Overview:

The Treasury, Corporate & Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day treasury and corporate functions, ensuring that the Group meets its financial and regulatory obligations. This role will support audit and accounting functions to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and optimize treasury management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee comprehensive treasury functions, including cash management, bank loan management (rollovers, drawdowns, compliance), and intercompany loans.
• Maintain and update banking records, including a master database of bank accounts and consolidated reports on banking facilities, charges, and utilization.
• Manage the establishment and maintenance of bank accounts, internet banking setups, and applications for bank facilities.
• Provide support to business stakeholders in foreign exchange (FX) and trade financing matters.
• Identify business and market opportunities by collaborating with banks to evaluate and enhance current funding schemes while exploring new funding options.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on tax compliance requests, including FATCA requirements.
• Prepare weekly cash flow consolidations to address short- and medium-term financial needs.
• Assist in the preparation of directors' and shareholders' resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory filing requirements.
• Support audit-related activities, including preparing bank and directors' confirmations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, ensuring alignment with financial reporting standards and group guidelines.
• Review payments and receipts to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing high-level support and engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of treasury functions, including cash management, bank loan management, and intercompany loan arrangements.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in financial software and treasury management systems.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work closely with Restaurant Manager and maintain the department profits through increased revenue and the minimizing costs.

2. Responsible for the outlet’s profit and loss statement with Restaurant Manager.

3. Responsible for department’s controllables in relation to revenue with Restaurant Manager.

4. Responsible for asset management of outlet and facilities.

5. To be aware of all Marriott Guests Incentive Programmes and the correct accounting procedures pertaining to them.

6. Responsible for all accounting and billing procedures in the outlet.

7. Conduct accurate business demands forecast on a weekly basis to ensure efficient staffing and food ordering in the absent of Restaurant Manager.

8. Plan time sheets, work schedules and complete the wage progress report on a weekly basis and critique discrepancies in the absent of Restaurant Manager.

9. Ensure efficient management and supervisory scheduling.

10. Represent the outlet in all day to day operational needs.

11. Enforce operating standards/use records and to change, update and improve on a regular basis.

12. Develop plans and actions on a quarterly basis for the restaurant and follow-up accordingly.

13. Develop departmental training plans for associates and supervisors on a quarterly basis in consultation with HR and follow-up accordingly.

14. Responsible and maintain safety and hygiene standards in the outlet at all times.

15. Responsible for the execution of all associate reviews and appraisals in a professional and timely manner.

16. Responsible for all aspects of associate management including hiring and termination in consultation with the Director of Restaurant/Director of Food and Beverage.

17. Train, supervise, coach and counsel associates when necessary.

32. Cash/Bank Handling:

- Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.

- Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, obtaining change required for expected business level, and keeping bank secure at all times.

- Transport bank to/from assigned workstation, following security procedures.

- Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies, forms, and resource materials; and maintain cleanliness of workstation at all times.
