We are looking for a Communications & Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the development, execution and optimisation of Sikh Welfare Council’s (SIWEC) communication platforms to drive our community engagement and fundraising efforts. The Communications & Digital Marketing Executive will work with our Fundraising committee (FRC) and create content according to our Fundraising calendar to secure financial support from diverse sources including individual donors, corporate partners and foundations to support the sustenance and growth of SIWEC’s programs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications & Digital Marketing Executive

Fundraising

• Assist the FRC to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies based on timeline of major events and identify new strategies to diversify revenue streams to meet fundraising goals.
• Work with the admin team to identify and cultivate relationships with current donors and other potential funding sources, including creating content as required to effectively communicate SIWEC’s mission, programs and impact to secure the financial support for our programs.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives with the FRC, including online campaigns, direct mail appeals and special events to engage donors.
• Create content to showcase the impact of SIWEC’s programs and showcase beneficiaries as part of regular communications and special fundraising campaigns.

Donor & Volunteer Engagement

• Assist in the planning and execution of communicating strategies to internal stakeholders (key volunteers including SIWEC management committee members and sub-committees, donors, Sikh institutions, and community partners (including government agencies from the social service and health sector.)
• Cultivate meaningful relationships with volunteers and donors (individuals, corporate partners and foundations) and maintain regular engagement with them through various channels including emails, letters and special events.
• Provide regular updates to donors on the impact of their contributions, showcasing tangible outcomes, success stories and testimonials.
• Create content to showcase volunteering with SIWEC’s programs and showcase volunteers to engage with potential new volunteers.
• Maintain, build and update mailing and donor and volunteer databases.

Event Coordination

• Assist in planning, organizing and executing events to increase SIWEC’s profile and engagement with stakeholders, primarily for fundraising and recruitment of volunteers for our programs.
• To plan and manage publicity and marketing of SIWEC’s community engagement channels and activities (e.g. SIWEC’s fund-raising initiatives, outreach events at various community touchpoints, online or in-person forums, workshops, and webinars/seminars, as well as the biennial SIWEC Appreciation Day.
• Assist the Manager in organising and managing visits to SIWEC by community partners, donors, government agency representatives, and members of the media.

Corporate Communications

• Develop creative concepts for content marketing, social media channels and SIWEC’s official website and prepare online newsletters, promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels.
• Plan and manage SIWEC’s presence on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of analytics tools (including, but not limited to, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics, Web Trends and more).
• To plan and manage SIWEC’s public communications including regular website updates, content creation of engaging stories for social media channels and drafting content for internal publications (e.g. SIWEC annual reports and quarterly e-Newsletter).
• Nurture relationships with mainstream and online media and develop narratives to promote and profile SIWEC’s social impact through long-standing and ongoing initiatives, such as Theek Thak (Are You Ok?) mental health programme.
• Maintain regular communication with our regular stakeholders (donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, others etc) to keep them updated about the latest programmes, initiatives etc on a regular basis.
• Assist in the website revamp initiative, specifically focussing on our 30-year SIWEC journey.
• Strategize how we can increase brand awareness of SIWEC via our regular communication channels (social media, emails, leaflets, newsletters, etc.)

Required Skills

1. Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification.

2. Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

3. Exceptional writing, speaking and story-telling skills.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate in a clear and persuasive manner.

5. Proven ability to be proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgment, with the ability to deliver work of high quality and accuracy within specified timelines.

6. Relevant experience in marketing communications capacity in a social service setting will be an advantage.

7. Familiarity with basic design functions in Adode, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical decarbonization studies for all RES projects including costs impact estimation.
• Experience to employ carbon reducing technologies efficiently on large-scale buildings, both new builds and retrofitting
• Calculates initial cost and payback period for carbon reducing investments
• Responsible for completing and submitting BCA Template and for explaining cost benefits to the review board.
• Implements requirements to achieve various energy & sustainability certifications and manages certification process.
• Knowledge of solar PV, air and ground source heat pumps, wind turbines, heat regeneration, and other energy saving technologies
• Knowledge and experience with energy modeling
• Knowledge of “fabric first” envelope analysis

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• University engineering degree (Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical); Masters preferred
• Certification or accreditation in one or more sustainable programs
• Minimum 8 years of experience

Job Description

The incumbent will be leading the MSc degree programmes’ marketing and promotional activities and administration at NUS Business School. The duties and responsibilities are as follows.

Events and Outreach with Business Development

• Participate in outreach events to promote the MSc programmes
• Coordinate and organise offline and online outreach events (e.g. info sessions, coffee chats, etc.) to promote the MSc programmes
• Work with the Digital Marketing colleagues to design campaigns in promoting outreach events as well as post-event engagements
• Research and identify prospective corporates and companies for B2B marketing
• Develop and nurture such relationships to explore potential scholarships and admission opportunities for their employees

Direct Marketing Campaigns

• Co-manage the email marketing campaigns and activities of the various NUS MSc Programmes
• Analyse current email marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
• Leverage on the CRM to maximize marketing opportunities
• Track leads and applicants, following up through their journey and process

Content Management and Marketing

• Work closely with our MSc Programmes Office team, NUS BIZ Corporate Communications Office and other stakeholders to act as a brand guardian in terms of the look and feel of online communications as well as the tone of voice of copy
• Handle programme-related enquiries from prospects and glean insight on generating relevant content strategy
• Be part of the team effort to generate and manage content ideas (including but not limited to copy, visuals, infographics, etc.) for EDMs, social media, student blogs etc.

Research and Reporting

• Conduct periodic research on customers, market conditions and competitors
• Analyse and report on return on investment for the different marketing campaigns

Other roles within the office as designated by the Reporting Manager and Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a reputable institution, with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience including marketing academic programmes in tertiary institutions will be preferred
• Some Business Development experience is preferred
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• Experienced, confident and effective working in cross-cultural settings
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and a keen appreciation of good documentation
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and deadlines well, and with a high degree of accuracy
• Team player with a good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Incident Response Consultant/Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing incident response services to our clients, developing incident response plans, and managing the incident response program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide incident response services to clients, both local and overseas, including incident handling, investigation, containment, and recovery.
• Develop incident response plans for clients, including policies, procedures, and playbooks, tailored to their specific needs and risk profile.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business and technical environment and provide tailored incident response services and recommendations.
• Manage the incident response program, including leading incident response engagements, mentoring the incident response team, and providing guidance to clients on incident response best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence and trends and incorporate this information into the incident response program.
• Conduct incident response tabletop exercises and post-incident reviews to continually improve the incident response program.
• Assist in developing proposals, statements of work, and other deliverables as part of the sales process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in incident response management and cross-country IR experience.
• Knowledge of incident response frameworks such as NIST, SANS, or ISO.
• Understanding of the latest threats and trends in information security.
• Experience in leading and mentoring incident response teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCFE or GCFA are preferred.

Candidates possessing the following abilities/skills will be considered favourably:

• Strong technical understanding of information security concepts and technologies, including network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
• Experience with incident response tools and technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, forensic tools, and threat hunting platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automating incident response processes.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, and the ability to analyse system logs and network traffic.
• Experience with incident response in cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as PDPA, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS, and their implications for incident response.
• Experience with incident response in a variety of industries, including finance, healthcare, government, or technology.
